This lovely book cover is made from a vintage hand embroidered tablecloth and covers A5 hard back book. The book and the cover makes a perfect gift for anyone who keeps a sketchbook, journal or just a place to store all those lovely finds.

The book cover is machine quilted over cotton wadding working the embroidery into the surface. The edges are sealed with acrylic metallic paint for a crisp and finished look. A twisted cord is attached to the spine of the book cover. It wraps around the book being tied at the front. The cord is twisted from natural coloured cotton yarn and a metallic gold thread.

This book cover protects a hardback A5 book approx. 50 pages. The pages are natural coloured with a slightly gray tone with fibers imbedded in the paper pulp. The pages have a slightly textured feel. Light to medium weight. The book measures 5 ¾ x 8 ½ inches (15 x 22 cm)

The book cover measures: 6 ¼ x 9 ¼ inches (16,5 x 24 cm)
