Elegant Gold Vase
Description
Give your summer bouquet the showcase it deserves!Made on a potter's wheel with white porcelain clay, this 7" vase is sure to be a conversation-starting centerpiece.
It's decorated in a gorgeous glossy Tenmoku glaze that "breaks" black and gold around the African-textile inspired pattern I applied with my hand-carved stamps. The glaze also shows off the "throwing rings" left by my fingers moving up the neck.
I make my vases a little heavier than my normal work to prevent accidental tipping.
It was fired in a kiln to over 2400 degrees (Cone 10).
All of my pottery is food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe.
