The Judgement of Paris charm NECKLACE with gold plated chain and apple
Description
Scornful Hestia threw the golden apple labeled "for the fairest" into a gathering of the Gods to which she was not invited. It caused such quarreling between Athena, Hera and Aphrodite that it was agreed a mortal should decide who of them was the most beautiful. By chance, the task fell to a shepherd, Paris, who was finally tempted by Aphrodite's offer of the love of the fairest woman in the world and gave her the apple. That woman was Helen of Troy and this was the beginning of the Trojan War...This necklace is 16" long and gold plated. Hanging from the necklace is a solid pewter gold-coloured apple charm and a small silver plated glass charm with the word "tempt" written inside. It is designed to hang asymmetrically with the "tempt" charm to one side. One of my favourite designs to date.
Please see my store for more pendants, necklaces and charm designs...
The Mymble's Daughter is inspired by castles in the air, pirates, mermaids, secret islands, fairytales, little goth girls, black roses, midnight skies and other mysteries...
