A pound of candy - necklace

Description

The inspiration for this fun and colorful necklace came from a 1920's game card.

The game card simply reads 'A Pound of Candy'.

Now I finally had a use for those candy colored beads I had bought eons ago!

The game piece was artfully soldered, with a vintage ad for little girls t-shirts on the back.

The glass beads were strung on memory wire, on the bottom of the necklace fringe was created by wire wrapping groups of beads on graduating lengths of silver tone chain.

Window glass, which is approx 2mm, or 1/16" thick, and lead free solder were used in the creation of this piece.

Special care: Keep dry. Polish with a clean, dry, soft cloth as needed.

This piece is a ONE OF A KIND. all items used in this mini artful collage are originals.

This piece does have a coordinating bracelet in the ready to wear section in my shop.
