Lindisfarne (Holy Island) is located off the Northumberland coast in the north east of England, just south of the Scottish border. This wrecked wooden boat rests quietly and feels the tide rise and fall slowly around it day after day.

I have used a combination of techniques to create the soft textures and imperfections in this image. It is based on an original photograph and then layered with hand drawn work and painterly layers.

Each giclee print is signed on the front in pencil on the right hand side just under the image (in the printmaking tradition). If you would like me to write the title of the artwork as well, please let me know in the message to seller during checkout.
