Custom Couture Baby Ballgown

Description

This gown is made to order, and can be fully customized to suit your color needs. I do have many colors of dupioni silk available, and can special order depending on your deadline. Please allow at least 3-4 weeks for your dress to be designed and created. If you have a tighter timeframe convo me and I will see if I can accomidate you!

This dress is designed to get maximum wear. The corset style back has an elastic section, allowing for growth of the child. This dress will expand from roughly a 20" waist, to about 24 1/2" wide, with adjustable arm straps so you control and tighten them to fit. The length of the dress is 10 1/2" past the waist, so for a younger baby it would be a longer dress, and for an older child more of a cocktail dress.

For size comparison, the model shown is 9 months old, and weighs about 17lbs. (the dress is a bit big on her as you can see) As an average you will probably get wear out of this dress until your child is about 2 years old, depending on how tall they are.

As a mother of a baby girl would know, it is so hard to find a unique, elegant dress for a baby. Everything out there is exactly the same cookie cutter princess dress. I have been designing formal gowns for about 6 years now, and it is my passion so I have decided to expand on that and create a line specifically for babies.
