Steel frame fruit basket -- custom copper wire lining

A customer at my local farmers' market brought me the pictured steel fruit basket with this dilemma: the fruit falls through the holes in the basket!! He brought me his basket with this request: put a copper wire 'lining' in the basket so that the fruit no longer falls through!Pictured is the result.
