Description
"Sweet Sixteen (Gray Poppies on Pink)"I love this color combination--I think it's cheerful and pretty. I painted this on Fabriano 140# cold-press and has a good white tone--not too bright but not dull either. I really like the way it "holds" the pigments in multiple layers of washes without losing vibrancy. I think this piece would look great in a simple black frame!
This piece depicts a grouping of gray flowers against a rosey pink speckled background. It has a watery appearance that I love!
Overall this piece measures 8x10"--a very sweet size. Also a standard frame size for a store-bought frame!
