Brasil Sunset Dress

Description

This dress has pretty appeal in the most stunning shades of pink with small measures of bright colour here and there - making it very exotic looking sunset colours streaming through. (Please note that the pink of the front looks a bit deeper in the flesh)

The base is an unused M&S slip dress with sweet lacy edgings and adjustable straps - hand-dyed to a pale pink. The front is from a vintage embroidered tablecloth with beautiful coloured flowers. ruffled up at the front accentuated by little lacy bows in pink and orange.
The detailing on the front top of this dress is quite special with hand embroidery in tonal floss, orange and pink vintage hand-dyed lace, beading and little sparkling sequins in pink and yellow.

A double layered flower at the front is decorated with little beads. The half front waist-coat style is adorned with hand stitching and beads.
The lacy pocket is also finished off with beads and an orange flower.

The back is bright pink hand-dyed linen with little dotted design on, ruffled at the bottom. A little patch is sewn on with an apricot at the side, so many details.

This is a very special individuals dress and will require romance, fun and lots of smiles :-)
Wear on it's own or with a little cami style top underneath, a cardy perhaps, stripey socks, flares, leggings, bloomers, boots or flip flops - suitable for summer or winter - for the shabby bohemian lady that likes edginess mixed with pretty!! Every colour will go with this dress.
Carefully wash separately at first in case of any initial dye residue. Air dry. Warm iron where necessary.
