Description

Uncut, unmounted deep etch red rubber stamps.

These stamps are part of the Art Nouveau Botanical rubber stamp Sheet, available here in our store. I will occasionally be offering these partial sets of images from our full stamp sheets.

- 1 large filigree leaf design, based on a hand-carved stamp I've used for years.
- 1 smaller five-pointed leaf
- 2 stem stamps

* If you want to arrange elements together, such as the leaves and berry cluster, you can use cling mounting cushion - details below - and arrange the elements together on the same block.

For sizing - the grid in the black and white image represents 1 inch blocks. The stamps are large.

These stamps are uncut and unmounted – they come as the “raw rubber” in a clear reseal-able sleeve. You cut and mount as you please (mounting tips are below), and pay much less per image than you would for pre-mounted stamps.

These stamps work well for jewelry/treasure bags, greeting cards, journals and stationery. Great for scarves/shawls, pillows, curtains, upholstery, jackets, etc...

Note that any black and white images are low resolution. The stamps and the impressions they leave are crisp and clear.

Our stamps are made from our original artwork. We send the images out to be made into magnesium plates and then rubber stamp sheets.

The images on deep etch stamps are raised higher from the "floor" of the stamp - this means that they can produce clearer and crisper images when used on softer surfaces or with thicker inks or paints. They are perfect for printing on fabric or thick rag paper, pressing in clay and embossing velvet.

You can mount these stamps permanently to bases made of wood or other material, or you can back them with a special mounting cushion that uses static cling to adhere them to a variety of glossy-surfaced materials, such as clear acrylic blocks. This allows you to attach and reattach the stamps to mounting blocks, without having to use temporary adhesives. The stamps can be stored more compactly than wood mounted stamps - they can be stuck to laminated binder sheets or even to a file cabinet or fridge.
