Arid Strem - Handmade Lampwork glass focal Bead by Flaming Fool SRA
Description
This is a flat, oval focal bead with a core of bright yellow and ivory with silvered ivory stringer swirl, which was then wound and encased in a transparent clear glass before shaping with paddles. The surface was then modified with melted in frit, adding some blue-green spots and faint veining on the surface of the glass.Bead Width (side to side): c. 21 mm ( 7/8 inch)
Bead Height (hole to hole): c.26 mm ( 1 1/16 inch)
Bead Thickness: c. 7 mm. ( 5/16 inch)
Hole Size: c. 2 mm. (3/32 mandrel used)
