Sea blue Amazonite combines with gold to create these refined, stately, and eye-catching earrings.

Striking sea blue faceted Amazonite teardrops sit within hand formed and hammered 14k gold fill teardrop hoops. The pieces are secured and bound together with 14kt gold fill wire. Finished with hand forged 14kt gold fill French ear hooks.

Measures 1.75” in length.

What is Gold Fill Wire? Gold fill wire is made by forming a tube of gold (10, 12, or 14k) and filling it with a base metal (usually brass). The gold content is 5%, or 1/20th of the total metal content of the wire. This is not the same as gold plated – gold fill contains 100 times more gold than does gold plated. Gold fill wire is strong, durable, resistant to tarnish, and should last a lifetime without showing signs of wear.
