I just love peonies. They are the most luscious, over-the-top, decadent flower, don't you think? We had a cold spring so it took forever for the peonies in my garden to bloom. When they finally did open their gorgeous pale pink with a hint of cream blooms, I set up some still life arrangements on my porch and painted for days.

Painted with bold, loose strokes and lots of color.
