Amber brown Copper Wrapped Beach Glass Pendant

My wife thinks this pendant looks a little like Marlo Thomas' hair from the TV show *That Girl*. I thought maybe it looked a little like a funny face, with wonky eyes and a long nose, albeit upside down.

Beachglass is glass found along the shores of oceans, seas, and very large lakes. It found its way into the water by being onboard a ship that sank, being tossed in as rubbish, or by some similar manner.

Over time, (Some of this glass is over a hundred years old. Some is hundreds of years old.) the action of the waves and sand round off the sharp edges, while the acidity or alkilinity of the water etches the glass, giving it a smooth, frosted finish. It takes years for this process to form the broken pieces of glass into true gems of the water, sometimes referred to as *Mermaid's Tears*.
