Mosaic Cafe Wall Art

Description

This giant mosaic coffee mug is just the right size to get you going in the morning!
Its measurements are approximately 14" x 24".

Perfect wall art for your kitchen, cafe, restaurant, or bistro.

I made the hearts from polymer clay and mica powder, and the yellow background is a mix of stained glass (from www.TwinBrooks.etsy.com) and handmade polymer clay tiles. The rest of the piece is vitreous glass, with a fun black & white checkered border! The sides are tiled to match.

The tiles are attached to wedi board, which make it very sturdy, yet lightweight. It comes ready-to-hang with a heavy-duty attached hanger.

I used two colors of grout...a medium grey for the mug and the border, and an off-white (sauterne) for the body.

This piece also has three coats of acrylic for protection, easy cleaning, and sheen. Recommended for indoor use only.
