As a child, it seemed my mother was always reminding me of what was or wasn't "ladylike." Crossing your legs at the ankles, never mixing neutrals and writing thank-you notes were polite; things like my laugh, which is still astonishingly loud, weren't.

I'm not trying to say that I didn't care about my mother's well-meaning tutelage; it's just that so many things seemed so much more important!

If you know how I felt, this choker may have your name on it. Alternating fire agate and horn beads are strung on a hand-wound chain of dark purple enameled copper wire; front closure is a discreet (and so ladylike!) magnetic clasp hidden away behind an emphatically bold wooden button. Despite their warm, sweet colors, the beads are chunky enough to stand up to the rest of your wardrobe with genuine moxie.

The chain is approximately 16", but can be lengthened somewhat if you need a larger size -- convo me for details.
