THE KIDS AND ME Quilted Fabric POSTCARD

Description

This 4x6 inch quilted fabric postcard is made from both recycled and commercial fabrics. The appliques are cut from a dress I found at the thrift store. The background fabric is commercial from my fabric stash. The back of the card fabric was cut from a vintage pillowcase, easy to write on. I quilted around each figure and edged the card with a zigzag stitch. Timtex is used for the batting for a sturdy yet flexible card. If it gets out of shape just take a hot iron to it for a few seconds.
