Quilted Tote Bag from Repurposed T-Shirts - Green/White

Description

This tote bag is one of my favorites! The front is pieced with various shades of green and white (including some lettering), the back is solid green, and the lining is solid white. The bag measures approximately 13.5 inches tall by 13 inches wide. The green and white handles are 16 inches long by 2 inches wide—just long enough to fit snuggly under your arm. The tote also has an interior pocket for small items.

I get most of my shirts from thrift stores and garage sales, but a few also come from friends and family. The t-shirts I use are 100% cotton or 50/50 cotton/poly blends. I only use shirts that have never been worn or those with minimal wear. And I never use armpit sections.
