Grey Tree of Life Pendant---Art Glass Pendant

A slight twist on my usual Tree of Life pendants...this one is painted with Payne's Grey watercolor (a first for me). I am very pleased with the results, if I do say so myself...very surreal and cloudy. Its almost like the tree stands in fog...and whats best about this pendant is that it will go with just about any outfit!

I cut and grind all the glass myself, as well as create the artwork and do the wire-wrapping. The glass is notched where the sterling silver wire rests to ensure a secure hold. Unlike the other tree pendants Ive created in the past, the paper on this pendant goes all the way to the edge of the clear glass. The black glass is purposely slightly larger than the image to create a "frame" around the tree image.

This art is created with high-quality watercolors and acid-free archival ink, and done on archival acid-free paper. The finished painting is coated with highly water *resistant* varnish, which also helps protect from yellowing and UV rays. These pendants stand up to getting wet, but I still would not advise swimming or bathing in them.

The measurements for this piece are approx. 1 1/4'' (3 cm) long by just under 1'' (2.5 cm) wide. A quarter is included in the last photo to give you an idea of this pendant's size.

As always, I only use sterling silver wire and jump rings in my jewelry to bring you the high quality.
