Roman-esk Iolite Fringe necklace

This Iolite and Garnet briolette necklace is simply stunning and will capture the feeling of long ago when paired with a empire waisted dress or a fantastic filler to a jacket and camisole, or tank, as its length is 20" and will drape longer over the neck line onto the chest.

Iolite is a pleochroic gemstone, which means it changes with the light source, like Alexanderite and Andalucite among others but those are the ones I can recall right off the bat. The colors that Iolite will exhibit range from red flashes, ambers, blues and violets wich are the over all body color of these stones they are a consistant deep purple with these flashes when light conditions change. So when you view the pictures understand that the colors are consistant but the flash captures the changes in the necklace giving the appearance that its not one color it is I assure you. There are also garnet faceted beads that complement this wonderful necklace.

The Sterling Silver Chain that this necklace incorporates is a heafty link rolo that is special in and of itself, and clasps with a spring ring clasp.
