Felted Red Bowl

Description

This little red wool and mohair bowl was first hand-knitted for bulk and strength, embellished with needle felting, then wet felted. Once dried and shaped, wool roving was applied via a dry felting technique. The bowl measures approx. 5" in diameter and 3.5" in height. It is decorated on the outside, front and back with a brown organic pattern and blue puffy "pods" of roving. Ideal for holding sea shell collections, jewelry, wrapped candies, or other treasures. Makes a nice gift.

Care instructions: Item should be treated like any wool textile; that is, do not machine wash. Gentle spot cleaning with a damp cloth is acceptable.
