This inspirational saying has been seen in a variety of forms lately. I used this version because it spoke to me as being something that everyone needs reminding of once in a while.

There's only one life, and the present moment is all we really have. Be sure to make use of it instead of letting it all slip away...

I've burnt this saying by hand onto a 1/4" thick piece of craft wood, 12" by 9" rectangle. No stamps were used in this design, which took over 2 hours to burn. After sanding it smooth, I sprayed a couple coats of a clear acrylic sealant on it for lasting beauty and ease of care. I then added a sawtooth picture hanger on the back, so it can be hung on the wall with the rest of your prized memories. If you don't have the wall space, though, feel free to stand it up in a miniature easel.
