Mossie Fairy Box

Description

This little Fairy is sitting on top of a little 3 by 1 3/4 inch box that I have covered in a dusty pink flowered fabric and decoupaged. The lid has a pink satin ribbon border. The total height with the fairy is almost 4 inches tall. She is firmly attached to the top with a couple of stitches and some glue. This little fairy is dressed in a dusty pink colored wool felt top that has been embroidered with green floss and adorned with pearls. Her little skirt is 6 layers of silk flowers. She is holding a "love" charm tied in a pink silk ribbon. Her face is handpainted and her hair is a brown wool roving that has been tied back in a pink silk ribbon bow. She has an acorn cap for her hat. Inside the box is a teeny little poseable Mossie that measures 2 1/2 inches tall. She is dressed almost identical to the Fairy, but has not earned her fairy wings yet! They could be sisters, or maybe Mom and daughter! They are a whimsical little twosome that is sure to put a smile on your face!
