I'm speaking for the many who seethe in silence and are subjected to the latest breed of free-range-spawn. First of all, they are inheriting a world that is a mess (because of us), and second they are not being taught how to do anything except manipulate their passive aggressive parents. Watch a cat, watch a bird, watch a squirrel; there is a time when discipline is essential if that animal is going to survive out of the nest. Thousands of years of knowledge cannot be tossed aside for the likes of crystal-rubbing society tee-totalers worried about their rank and image amongst likewise spineless noodles who really can't do much more than point and talk. That trophy for showing up at the soccer match won't much help when the bill for our latest stoopit war comes due and we who let it happen are all long in the tooth in our diapers singing along to Coldplay tunes.

There, I feel better.

And no, I have no children.
