Feng-Huang, or Chinese Phoenix, socks are constructed in top down style using 2 circular needles. Pattern uses charts for the main stitch pattern and is provided in two sizes (Medium recommended for US womens size 7—8.5, and Large for US womens size 8.5+).

Yarn shown in pattern is Denali sock (light fingering weight) from Pagewood Farms in colorway "Really Red."
and also PennyRose sock yarn in "Toffee Brickle" from Fritzl (http://www.fritzl.etsy.com)

Recommended needle size: US #1 (2.5mm).
Gauge: 32 sts & 44 rnds = 4" in Stst in the rnd
(8 sts & 11 rnds = 1")
