Decorative Washi Heart

A drop of water.
A reflection in
a pink decorative heart.

This heart shaped pendant was inspired by the shape of a leaf that I saw while I was walking in the park. The design is made from a tiny collage of paper and Japanese washi paper in pink, orange, red, turquoise and highlights of gold. Each shape is cut and glued by hand and then the collage is set into a 925 sterling silver frame. The paper is protected with a layer of clear resin making the pendant waterproof. The pendant is presented on a 925 sterling silver Italian made omega necklet.

Pendant measures 33 x 29mm (approx 1.3 x 1.2")
Necklet measures 40cm (approx 16")
