Blue Green Jar with Curly Top Knot

I threw this jar on the wheel in two pieces and then added the curly top knot afterwards. The lid fits perfectly! The glaze is just spectacular! The blues and greens just sparkle and have an almost irridescent look. This is one of my favorite pieces to date.

The jar itself is 3 1/2 inches tall and about 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. The lid adds about 1 1/2 inches bringing the total height to 5 inches.

It's such a lovely jar and since it's lead free and water tight, it could be used for storing food or anything you like. Or, it is so pretty, it could stand on it's own.

It has my mark, a kitty paw print on the side, but the glaze obscures it quite a bit, and my signature and the year it was made on the bottom.
