South Forest LARGE print
Description
This is a print from my original gouache painting. It is a painting about the transition between winter and spring. The pine in his mandorla lives in a perpetual winter of icy green and a bare tree represents the hardwoods.A little doe lays beneath one of the first to flower: the mountain laurels. New seed pods burst open with life from the rich earth and birds arrive to begin nesting in the forest.
a beautiful season....you can still see how the land lays because the trees haven't leafed out yet, but new green shoots are everywhere and the animals come out to play. Love it!
The image size of this print is 11 x 14 and is printed on a 13 x 19 sheet on archival paper with archival inks. It is signed and dated by the artist and ships inside a protective plastic sleeve and hardboard mailer.
