Large Scalloped Shell Neckpiece

Description

This one of a kind, hand-fabricated sterling silver necklace is composed of 15 pointed crescents with hammered ridges, linked together to form a dramatic tiered neckpiece. The crescents are slightly irregular and organic, resembling something like a cross between a seashell and a dragon scale, or maybe something from a prehistoric sea dinosaur. No matter what you think it looks like, I think we can agree that it looks like it dropped off of something pretty awesome.

The large crescents are 1.25" (3 cm) wide and 1.5" (4 cm) long, and the smaller crescents are 1" wide and 1" long (3 cm x 3 cm). The total length of the necklace is 15", but it can be adjusted up to 17.5." A tiny grey seashell that I found at the beach hangs from the end of the chain, it looks great dangling down the back.
