The Penelope Bag in Amy Butler Woodfern fabric

Description

The Penelope Bag is a large bag that would be great for the days you need to carry around everything but the kitchen sink! :) This bag will hold a ton of stuff. I use my own Penelope bag when I need to take along extra stuff for a trip in the car.

This bag is made from a home decorator weight fabric from Amy Butler called Woodfern. It is a burgandy color with lighter colored scolls all over it. The lining of the bag is a coordinating cotton fabric. There is an inside pocket that is divided into two sections and one pen holder. The strap is attached to the bag with silver metal rings.

The purse stays closed with a magnetic snap. There is a layer of heavy duty interfacing inside to maintain its shape. The strap is made from four layers of fabric and has a layer of interfacing inside. The strap is triple stitched onto the bag for durability. The bottom of the bag is reinforced also.

The measurements are as follows (all measurements are approximate)

12 inches wide at the top
15 inches wide at the widest point near the bottom of the bag
10 inches tall in the middle
13.5 inches tall at the side
4 inches deep at the bottom
Strap is 36 inches long and just slightly over 1 inch wide.
