edie the large elephant

Description

edie is a one of a kind elphant made from a mix of vintage and new fabrics. she is the larger size version of my little elephants, and she is definitely a big girl (weighing in at almost 10 ounces, although you shouldn't tell her I told you)!
edie can sit on her own, but sometimes gets a bit tired of sitting and lays down. A little pat on her back will wake her up again..

she is very tightly stuffed with fiberfill, so she is not really a cuddly toy. her head and ears are very securely sewn on, but she has a pretty necklace made from grey biastape and four vintage fabric covered buttons. this necklace is not permanently attached and can easily be removed.

edie sits about 9.5" high (24cm), has a leg span of about 10.5" (28cm), and her favorite thing is to watch various food shows while sneaking sweet treats. she is not picky, anything sugary will do!

edie is probably not the best toy for an infant or toddler, because of her weight, but also due to the fact that her button eyes (though sewn on very tightly) might come off and could accidently be swallowed. she would be fine for a child over the age of 3, or simply as a cute addition to a new little one's nursery decoration.

not suitable for machine washing or drying in a clothes dryer. keep him clean with a damp cloth.
