FACES Quilted Fabric ACEO
Description
This 2.5x3.5 ACEO is made with both commercial and recycled fabrics. The masks come from some novelty fabric, the pumpkin was from men's boxers and the alien head is from flannel pj's. The yellow background fabric is commercial and the back fabric is from my vintage fabric stash. Can't quite remember where it actually came from but my thought is perhaps some curtains from back in the day.I machine quilted around the appliques and finished this piece with a zigzag stitch. I used timtex as the batting for a very sturdy and durable card.
