Altered Rummikub Fairy Pendant on Leather Necklace with Swarovski Clasp
Description
This is an altered vintage illustration of fairies doing their laundry from a children's book.I used a light colored suede leather strap and a Swarovski crystal toggle clasp. I liked the mix of texture. It was like mixing the ethereal with the earthy, the feminine with the masculine. I thought it captured the essence of what I think of when I think of fairies, heavenly creatures that are tied to the nature on earth.
The image hugs the Rummikub. Some of the image spills over on each side of the pendant.
The necklace is 20 1/2" long.
