This photograph was taken in Wassenaar, Holland. These plants were growing all along the edge of a calm river. There is a real dream-like fairytale sense to this picture. I practically expect some frog prince to pop up in that patch of lily pads! I have made digital alterations to this piece. The second image is a detail view which shows these changes more clearly.
