Zen is my merino/bamboo blend DK weight yarn. Its a luxurious blend of 60% merino and 40% bamboo. The merino lends softness, while the bamboo gives it a wonderful drape. Zen takes color beautifully, with a heathered appearance and a bit of sheen. Zen knits up at 5.5-6 stitches per inch on a US 5-6 needles. Each 100 gram skein is approximately 300 yards. Zen is an ideal choice for scarves, mittens, hats, sweaters, even a cozy shawl or wrap. Each skein is individually handpainted by The Painted Sheep. This skein is in my Blue Note colorway - shades of blue ranging from deep blueberry to pale silver-blue. Perfect with your favorite jeans!
