Purple Paisley Fantasy

Description

These beads were inspired by another lampwork artist's tutorial: Anne Rickets (who has an Etsy shop). They look nothing like her tutorial, but I was inspired to try the combination while working on other beads using her tutorial. This is a set of 5 lentil beads made on a base of CIM thai orchid - a deliciously deep purple glass. I use turquoise spots and silver blue frit to create the design. I wanted to see what all those glass with high silver content would do together. Since I have a penchant for swirling and twisting my glass, I twisted the surface decoration and created an interesting paisley effect. The largest lentil is 18mm in diameter, the two middle size lentils are 15mm and the two smallest are 13mm.

All my glass beads are handmade by me in my home studio. They are kiln annealed for strength and durability and dremel cleaned before offering for sale. I am a Self Representing Artist, specializing in lampwork, #C88.

I will make every attempt to pack your beads well, so that they arrive unscathed. However, these are glass beads and subject to breakage with rough handling. I encourage you to purchase insurance.
