There are so many ways to wear tartan. The muted 1930s shades used here can make it nostalgic and romantic or it can be cute or kitschy or rebellious or punky...

All depends what you put with it. If you wore our red tartan garter belt with these blue tartan knickers it would make quite a statement! Team them with romantic roses and hearts camisole and it would take on an entirely different atmosphere.

Anyway, we love it. 100% cotton and, as stated, nicely softened hues based on an original 1930s pattern: ivory, rather than white, with blocks and lines in blue, red and yellow. There's a tea-stain coloured scalloped lace trim around the legs, and a creamy coloured picot edged elastic waistband with a big soft ivory satin bow on each side. The gusset is lined in matching fabric.

This pair will fit 34 inch hips, but while stocks last we can make in most sizes; just email first to check availability, and we will happily set up an order for you at no extra cost.
