antique celluloid place card - goin' fishin'

A fantastically whimsical hand-carved silhouette of two young boys on a short trek to the fishing hole. the design is rendered in ivory-toned celluloid with incredibly pale stripes noticeable upon close inspection.

The thin, intricately detailed silhouette is set on a black base and was originally intended to be used as a place setting. The name of the guest would be written in pencil on the celluloid and then wiped clean to use again.

The silhouette measures 3" high and 1.75" wide - a petite curiosity sure to intrigue visitors.

**I do not recommend writing on this piece with any type of implement. The celluloid is in excellent condition, but excessive washing or writing on it could cause it to become discolored**
