SALE Leaf Carved Teapot

Description

This sweet, intimate little teapot is the perfect size for one person. It is wheel thrown and altered soda fired stoneware. I hand carved the textured pattern on it. The lid has a key where it lines up to the front side of the pot so you know which way the lid is supposed to fit. This new element in my work speaks of the small details that I am inspired by in nature.

Teapots are my favorite form to make and I enjoy all the time it takes to get all the parts working together as a whole.
This teapot is functional, has food safe glazes and should be hand washed.

Since the piece was soda fired, there is variation in tone and color from side to side on the teapot.

Dimensions: 6.75" x 6" x 5"
Colors: Interior glaze: White/light gray shino glaze
Exterior: Reds, browns, whites, carved area is a light sage green color, with white accents
