Edge, Original Landscape Collage Painting on Paper

Description

This collage painting is made from hand painted papers in acrylic. The image size is 8 x 6.5 inches. There is a white border around the image and the external paper size is 9.25 x 7.5 inches.

....a freshly harvested field....green again....and still lush foliage at road's edge.

The work is being sold unframed, but a digital frame is shown so that you can see how the work might be presented.

The work in done on off-white, acid-free, very heavy artist's paper and is ready to frame. I begin by drawing one or two lines for placement and then cut and tear color shapes very simply and freely. Each shape is glued as I go. At the very end, various touches of acrylic color are added. The work is signed and dated lightly in pencil, bottom left.

I have been painting, showing, and selling for over 25 years and divide my time between painting and teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Education.
