Civil War Style Hoop Skirt / Dress for 18 inch Dolls

Description

This hoop skirt is for 18" dolls, such as American Girl. It is 100% cotton.

This set includes 3 pieces: dress, hoop skirt and petticoat.

The dress is a connected blouse and skirt. The blouse is ivory with a white pattern of vines and buds on it. The skirt is light pink with pink and red buds sprinkled over green vines, with very light ivory dots in the backround. The neckline is edged with ivory lace. The sleeves are puffs, coming to a ruffle around the cuff because of elastic. The back is closed with snaps.

The petticoat is muslin with a 2" white lace ruffle around the hem for added "poof"! The back closes with a snap.

The hoopskirt is muslin, with 32 inches of boning around the hem (meaning the cercumference is 32"!). The waist is drawstring, tied in a bow in the back.

What an adorable historical costume for a doll!
