Description

From the series "Between Nightmare & Madness"
The Attic Dream was created in 2000

This piece is a photomontage of two images
each photographed with film,
then the negatives were scanned and printed
as one ink jet print onto watercolor paper
the print was then mounted to a piece of solid wood
and coated with wax and acrylic.

The effect is that the piece seems more like a painting than a photograph. It acts more as object than image.

Size: 8" x 8" x .5" deep

The Attic Dream is wired on the back for immediate hanging

The images at the bottom of this piece were taken with a plastic camera and the exposures were overlapped giving the ghost effect. The image at the top of the piece was taken with a 35mm camera.
