Pompei Meets Celt Hand Painted Silk Scarf

Lovely pompeian red (brown with heavy red undertones) highlighted with a deep teal celtic knot make this marvelous, hand painted, silk crepe de chine scarf a must have. Perfect for fall and on into winter, this scarf should pair well with brown, black, grey, tan or deep teal. If you are a fan of celtic knots and the rich fall reds, then this is the scarf for you.

Measuring 7.75 inches by 49.75 inches (19.69 cm by 126.37 cm), this scarf works well as an accent at the neck line or as a headband. It will also work well as a belt. For something a bit different, wrap it around the arm taking care to show off the knots at each end.

This scarf was hand dyed with acid dyes. The celtic knots were painted using the Serti Gutta technique. Dyes were steam set. The scarf has rolled hems. To clean it, wash the scarf in a mild soap like baby shampoo, rinse in a conditioner and hang dried. Press on low or your silk setting.
