Each leaf is unique because of the lovely colors in the veins. The colors are achieved in the firing process. When the bronze is fired in the kiln it picks up beautiful rainbow colors from the carbon that they are fired in. There is no additional patina added to the leaves. I simply buffed the back and the high spots to show off the beautiful bronze, leaving the colors in the details.
When you move the little leaves jingle together sounding like tiny bells.
The sterling silver chain is 18 inches long with a handmade sterling hook-eye clasp closure. The whole chain has a faint rainbow patina adding even more to the autumn feel.
Fall is my favorite time of the year and this beautiful necklace makes me look forward to the coming season.
