Hand crocheted with 85/15 wool/mohair blend in a palette of heathered browns, each trivet has been wet felted into a tight fabric and feature 5 green lines hand stitched on the sides.

Complete with grommets and a handy leather strap for hanging when not in use, these felted wool coasters are heat resistant, flame retardant AND are a renewable and environmentally friendly resource (yet another reason why wool is too cool for school).

*IMPORTANT*
These trivets are great for putting under bowls and vases to prevent scratching the surface of your table but are not completely water proof in regards to very hot items such as teakettles or pots right off the burner -steam can still get through. It will, however protect from cold water spills as the water will just bead right off.
