This is a box of wonderful vintage napkins. I believe they are from the 1950s, or possibly the 1960s. They are patterned to resemble a cross stitch sampler and feature 5 different sayings. There were originally 50 napkins, but what is left in the box is only 12. There is at least one of each saying. The box is marked Made in U.S.A. and is in wonderful vintage condition. The remaining paper napkins have never been used and are also in great condition. What a quaint, kitschy treasure!

The sayings are as follows:
"From Ghoulies & Ghosties & Long Leggity Beasties & other things that go BUMP in the night Good Lord Deliver Us" (my personal favorite!)
"No matter where I serve my Guests, It seems the like My Kitchen best"
"Lest your kissing should be spoiled Be sure your onions are fully boiled"
"Yard by yard Life is hard Inch by inch It's a cinch" and
"My House is Clean enough to be Healthy and Dirty enough to be Happy"
