What a stone. This is a fabulous well cut natural untreated Tourmaline from Brazil.
An unusual Fancy cut that really brings out the natural beauty of this gemstone.
I believe that the images speak volumes for this stone. But, let me boar you with my opinion. This is a fabulous natural RUBELLITE Tourmaline with stunning unmatched color. The color can only be described as a vivid scarlet, almost a crimson color. Weighs 7.86 carats and measures 13.88 x 9.87mm.
I have never seen this color before and I can honestly say that this is a rare red with flashes of a deep almost pinkish hue. This quality gemstone alone without the ring would easily retail over $2500.
This is a very unusual cut that was chosen to bring out the best color. This stone is eye clean and only when you are close up might you notice the slight microscopic inclusions. By cutting this en cabochon on the top, the Master Gem cutter was able to mask the inclusions. Coupled by the faceting on the bottom of the stone the brilliance really does a great job distracting the critical eye from picking up the inclusions. I have attached an image that clearly shows the inclusions when viewing the stone from the bottom up. I should note that there is one inclusion that if viewed from a particular angle (an odd angle from the side) will show up as a flash of light. This is a subtle flash and fortunately it is located at the bottom corner of the stone and should be masked by the bezel. When doing a final setting on this stone I believe this inclusion will all but vanish.
One very positive side of these inclusions is the fact that they will easily convince even a novice gemologist that this is natural tourmaline and not glass.
What a great ring. i have chosen 18K Rose gold to compliment the color of the stone, and a great gemstone requires 18K gold. This gemstone would look good in just about any color be it yellow or white, I chose rose gold because that is my preference. There is no charge to recast this in white or yellow gold.
This is a clean classic styled design that is coupled with a great very high quality gemstone.
This stone is AAA grade with, STUNNING color.

No charge to resize ring three full sizes either up or down. For additional sizes please call for details. No size is a problem so please contact us ahead of time if you need a very large size(13 or greater, up to a 18) or a very small size (below a size 4).
