woodland orchid flower ring in sterling silver
Description
i fabricated this orchid from fine and sterling silver, and then soldered it to a ring shank i forged from a tulip poplar stamen i lost wax cast. this was a project for the national arboretums annual orchid show and fair: it one third prize, thank you very much! the ring is cocktail-large about 3" x 2.5" across, but it is sure cool!Added on Nov 05, 2009
