Elizabethan Era Challenge Necklace

Nothing like a good challenge to get the creative juices flowing!
The weekly challenge of the EuropeanStreetTeam here on Etsy was this time 'the Elizabeth era'.
And so we got to work on a necklace remminiscent of Elizabeth's ruffled collars, but appealing and wearable in the Web era!
The base of the necklace is formed by a beautiful passamanerie trim in deep burgondy, tan and aqua. Three medallions hold funny lady's portraits, protected with epoxy and with ruffles of metalic lace. There in between ribbon rosettes, gorgeous vintage buttons, a beaded crochetted pom pom, etc.
You will be unmistakenly the queen in this riotous necklace!
The necklace is 23'' (59cm) long with a 4''(10cm) extension.
