Windows of the Past - Pop Art Pendant with the text "Lissa - slender, and with perfect quiet features". A unique and eye catching piece of art for you neck.

The pendant is made from the aluminium of soda pop cans. After being cut into the right size, the edges of the little piece is folded twice in order to create a frame. Due to the delicacy of the material, it is not possible to refold any edges without causing breakage. So in the folding process I only have one chance to get the fold correctly. Every frame is cut and folded by hand and this gives each frame a unique look.

The picture or text in the middle is cut from vintage newspapers or magazines. The papers are mostly from the 50s, but I also have some from all the decades from the 20s and up to the 60s. The window is a piece of transparent epoxy which gives an extra depth to the image.

Please be careful and try not to use the pendant while showering or bathing. The pendant will not be damaged if used in water, but the piece of paper will get wet – however it will be as good as new again as soon as it dries.

The pendant will be delivered with a ribbon/cord. If you would like a special colour, please choose amongst the ones in picture no. 5 and let me know in your message to seller. If not, I will choose the one I find most suitable for the pendant. The cord or ribbon used in picture no. 2 is randomly choosen.

Picture no. 3 shows how the necklace will be packed, and no. 4 is an example of how the backside looks and also the locking of the cord/rippon.

The pendant is approx. 1½”x 1½”
